Just a little story from Troy Smith
We walked on the Derwent Valley Heritage way, which follows the Derwent from Ladybower to Shardlow, but finished at pride Park with Ben being a Derby fan.
We had a bus paid for by Belfield to take us to Ladybower for 0730 to start the first 25 miles to Matlock, the second 25 was Matlock to Derby.
Everyone on the walk paid to stay overnight at Matlock. Most of the walkers were from full power fitness. We have hammered social media for weeks with posts leading up to the walk. So far we have raised over 3k, but expect more to 4k by the time all monies are in.
Darren got us access to the stadium for the finish which made it very emotional
